Still have a 6 gayme lead in the NLC, though.
still on pace for like 130 wins
Down to 112!
Cards getting fisted by the Cubs 6-0 in the 4th.
Flubs have 1 goddamn hit tonight.
Still with a realistic shot at winning though
Drop to 35-15, still 6.5 games up
They lose an Arrieta start
Arrieta still with 7 scoreless innings.
Can this gay gentleman just get busted for PEDs already?
I'm sick of this bullshit guy. Something is amiss. Awry even.
It's the beard, bro.
His fugly delivery too
I like how they say first time they lost an Arietta start since July. Except the NLCS. Oops. And of course.
Fan voting is such a crock. Wasn't there like 7 Royals voted in last year?
Yea, originally 7 of 8 starting spots were Royals. I believe they finished with 3 or 4.
Arrieta loses 1st start in 25 regular season games pitched
Authorities charged a man after he tried to record a child with a camera in a bathroom at Wrigley Field Saturday afternoon, police said.
Nichols J. Gregor, 37, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Police said the child and his father were at a bathroom by the urinals at Wrigley Field, at 1060 W. Addison St., when Gregor came up next to the child about 3:35 p.m. He allegedly pretended to urinate next to the child but instead took out a camera, according to police.
Dude is lucky that the dad didn't beat the shit out of him.
What the fucking fuck.
Wrigley has urinals now? What a world.
Some bathrooms have some, but it's probably like, I dunno, still 80% troughs.
Don't recall seeing any urinals in the one I used on the lower level 1st base side last month, but remember upstairs by the stairwells having some a few years ago.
Look at these male perverts using male bathrooms to spy on males!
8-1 drubbing to go to 41-17. Almora comes up and gets his first ML hit, RBI, run and outfield assist. Their farm system could win 90 gaymes in the MLB.
Meanwhile, on the southside...
So the city allows fairly generous beer/wine sales at the new Cubs plaza, but Ricketts throws a tantrum, and nobody in the media (as far as I've seen) tells him to check his privilege?
Ricketts previously commented that he doesn't feel a need to "negotiate" with the city any longer, apparently assuming that he has a ton of leverage and that the city can't just tell him to get fucked.
What a fuck.
Scherzer perfect through 5
Phish tickets are 15 bucks on Stubhub right now.
$15 too much.
$12 bucks now.
How much was face?
So far this season the Cubs are #2 in Runs scored in MLB at 366 (Bos at 391), #1 in Runs Allowed at 196 (NYM #2 233), and #1 in Run differential at +170. Boston at +81 is the next closest to the Cubs. This team is ridiculous. I don't think they will reach 116 wins but they will come damn close.
...and blow it all at the track!
Just more pressure to win it all or be seen as failures, ultimately.
Maybe we should root for them to hit 116 wins? Having the best record in your sport seems to be a detriment to winning a championship.
So we can have the Bizarro Henry needle SOX fans with "So, how many 116 win seasons does YOUR team have?"
A: With a playoff choke? None.
How many does YOUR team have?
Kubs are on a 4-game losing streak.
