Can't make it.
Dat panna cotta tho
This one sold out quickly, but they're posting more (free) tickets at noon on Friday.
I already have one, but not sure if I can make it.
This is tomorrow.
Is anyone on here going to attend?
Working from home today, so
Ima swing by and say hi in ten minutes.
Just saw one of your students walking down the street toward school.
Showing up at 10:30?
cheeses knows what one of sycked's students looks like?
"Your" as in "your school." Have no fucking clue who sycked teaches, and I don't think he does on a daily basis given his sub role.
Also sycked is stalking cheeses residence?
Doesn't have the street or the address.
Sadly, 10:30 isn't all that late. Not even sure why they show up at that point, though.
I'll probably go right when it starts at 4:00. If it sucks, I'll relocate to the new patio behind St. Lou's.
As far as you know...
A man does not know such things.
No prices listed for the food and the revolution offerings are nothing special, unless they're holding back word on it. If I still lived nearby, maybe.
Deth is going to be there, so I assume the Rev beers will be on point. Worst case scenario, I've never had Ghost Ride.
I just saw the cover photo on FB advertising $4 Fist City and Something Crazy. Figured that they had to have something special, but...
Official page for this event listed regular BCBS and 3 variants. This afternoon, some dude asked them on FB what's in a flight and how much it costs. They gave a shady answer listing only rye, Juliet, and OMG. No price. He politely asked again, and they refused to answer. Ah, shady bait and switch haps!
Or maybe they're just fucking retarded. Last time I was there, they had like every single Rev BA beer, but they only sold pints. I asked the manager whether they offered flights, and he was like, "What's a fight?" As much as I would like to drink 5 pints of BA goodness, I have to drive home, motherfucker.
5/25 - KBS & Double Daisy at Skylark - Firestone Walker at Haymarket
5/29 - Brewers Brunch at Haymarket - Baderbrau Block Party
Be there, or be gay gentlemen.
Going to Skylark tomorrow. Was awesome last year, with $5 servings. Bringing a buddy who is in Siebel training to be a brewer.
Prolly get there a little after 4, since I have to leave by 5.
Slammed 3 high gravity beers in 40 mins and then cheesesbiked my way to pick up my kids before walking home in the pouring rain.
Number of rounds bought by Deuce: 1 . . . but my beer randomly wasn't included.
Mistakes were made.
Craft beer week is over, but there's another event today along the same lines:
Burgers from Kimski's Chef Won. Beer from Marz and Middle Brow.
Lemont Beer Fest this Saturday.
Won't make it
Have fun changing diapers.
I've been asking around trying to find out why Marz is the only South Side brewery not included on the South Side Craft Beer Fest list. EdMar says they were never invited. Justin Fucktard says they never signed up. Hard to RSVP "yes" if you're not invited, Fucktard!
But in his defense, why should Fucktard bother to invite the people most responsible for the presence of craft beer on the South Side? More room for non-South Side breweries!
And I asked my friend at Alter if they could get in and he said Justin told him south side breweries only
Starts tomorrow. Here are some events this week.
BCBS flights at Dusek's (all day, but I'd try to go around 4:00)
BUG After Party at Haymarket (starts at 8:00pm, kinda late for downtown haps)
South Side Craft Beer Fest (starts at 2:00pm)
St. Lou's anniversary pig roast ($6 beer & bbq plate at 4:00pm)
Half Acre Rooftop Party at Fountainhead (double daisy etc. tapped at noon)
People's BBQ at Kimski (free polish sausage etc. at 5:00pm)
Kimski on Sunday
I'll be in Buffalo Grove for the weekend, dropping +1 off at her place sometime Sunday afternoon, so could hit that on my way home if anyone is down.
Looks like they changed the start time to 5:00, but they already tapped regular BCBS and Maine Lunch.
Only pint special they've announced so far is $3 mini-Mathias.
Still for dat can

As part of Chicago Craft Beer Week, this coming Wednesday, 5-24, we will be tapping the following:
Three Floyds Zombie vs. Unicorn
Half Acre Double Galactic Daisy Cutter
Fucking assholes!!! I have my closing on the 24th!!!!
See you there?
Motherfucker. I'm in Ravenswood until 6p at the earliest all of next week.
Uber yo' ass to Pilsen ASAP? Wednesdays are shitty for me, but $5 KBS and double daisy are hard to pass. In fact, I don't think I've ever missed this Skylark event.
Zero beer nerds at this, so nothing kicked. It should all still be on at 11am tomorrow. Empty choice events like these are why I refuse to stand in long lines for anything.
Disclaimer: There is almost no flavor difference between regular BCBS and coffee or barleywine this year. Coffee in particular has almost zero coffee flavor, and I didn't take a sip of any of them until they warmed up to room temp.
