Was browsing the Cubs promo schedule earlier today; they have a lot of good giveaways but they are all limited to first 10k or first 5k. I can see there being a lot of angry people who had to wait outside on Opening Day to not get a trophy.

More teams need to be like the Giants and Cardinals. Their promo schedules are insane and almost everything goes to 1st 30k.

The Bullpen Sports Bar will be named the Craft Kave. That is where they will have all those craft beers.

Goes from worst beer selection in the park to the best.

Hopefully the food menu doesn't change much (or improves without costs going up - food in the BPSB has been the best value for years)

Thinking about going to a game as a portion of my bachelor party this year. Bullpen bar may be the best bet, as the suites are kind of pricy compared to what we were aiming for. A Sox game might be too depressing for such an event though considering the current state of the team...

Groupon deal for the ticket, patio party is like around $45 after all the fees. It was $52.50 for 10 of us after we paid for the groom's ticket

I'm intrigued. I didn't know they had just a pre-game deal- figured you had to linger the whole game. Never actually done the patio.

    Thanks for the tip.

And it's right next to the bullpen bar so instead of going to your seats just go to the bar for the game and get more drunk

Went to the Bullpen bar for the first time last year. Was a depressing scene:

I saw a bunch of bachelor party guys once in the uppers in like maybe... 2011. Two dudes were passed out already (saturday day game) and two guys were being obnoxious. The final two guys were probably the actual sox fans and spent half the time apologizing to everyone else sitting near them.

Something tells me those prices are negotiable depending on how close to the game it is / how shitty the sox are.

I'd guess these are for corporate customers who aren't likely hosting clients on the weekends. Never underestimate the willingness of companies to spend money lavishly. You know, it's a writeoff.

Prices are negotiable? What the hell does that even mean?
  32. IWMB

Maybe there's greater demand on the corporate side if people are planning their visits around that series.

And yeah, for businesses obviously the weekday is more desirable.

$4900 for one game and you get standard food like hotdogs and popcorn? But you can "talk to your rep" about an upgrade? For $4900 they better have strippers delivery prime rib to my seat and offering me a lap dance before dessert. Get fucked.

Having sat in the CF bleachers many times when Harry was broadcasting from there during Wednesday afternoon home games I can tell you he usually drank a beer an inning. If the game went into extra innings...WATCH OUT! LOL.

He'd always have a full pitcher right there since fans would buy him beer and just pour it into the pitcher.

    Good times.

Harry and Jimmy were quite a combo as well.
